Transforming a Visitor Experience Space in Lincolnshire

The Brief

Following renovation works, the space required a complete visual upgrade. The client wanted to:

Improve visitor engagement
Present historical and educational content clearly
Create stronger visual impact
Introduce interactive elements
Deliver a cohesive interior branding scheme

This was not a single-sign solution — it was a full interior transformation project.

Our Solution

Working collaboratively with the Energy Cell, we developed and delivered a comprehensive interior signage package, combining interpretation design with large-format graphics and illuminated displays.

From design development through to manufacture and installation, every element was produced and installed to ensure durability, visual impact and long-term performance.

Interior Wall Graphics & Interpretation Panels

Large-format wall graphics were installed to create immediate impact and define the space visually. These graphics not only enhanced the aesthetic of the environment but also helped tell the story of the site in a clear and engaging way.

Bespoke interpretation panels were designed and positioned strategically throughout the space, ensuring information was accessible, structured and easy to digest for visitors of all ages.

Illuminated Lightboxes & Feature Displays

A key feature of the project was the installation of custom illuminated lightboxes.

The centrepiece large-format lightbox provides a powerful focal point, drawing visitors into the space and elevating the overall atmosphere. The illumination adds depth, vibrancy and presence — ensuring the content stands out while maintaining a premium finish.

These illuminated displays significantly enhance the visitor experience and create a strong first impression upon entry.

Interactive Visitor Engagement

To further increase engagement, Allen Signs produced a bespoke spin-to-play informative quiz feature.

This interactive display encourages participation, extends dwell time and makes the experience memorable. By combining physical interaction with educational content, the space becomes more than just informative — it becomes experiential.
