Allen Signs secured a contract to rebrand Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road Stadium following a competitive tender process. The project involved replacing existing signage on three stands, including part of the new £8m West Stand.
The process began with a thorough site survey, considering the stands’ height and multiple elevations. This ensured the most appropriate production and installation methods were employed.
Phase one focused on the Holland and Barrett Stand, requiring the manufacture and installation of multiple signage panels at three different heights. The Nottingham Building Society Stand presented a unique challenge due to its awkward roof line angle. Wayfinding signs were also installed before the season’s opening game.
Phase two involved branding the rear of the East Stand to promote new sponsor Mattioli Woods. This phase required careful planning due to ongoing pitch installation work.
