Enhancing Diamond Place with Bespoke Signage Solutions for LACE Housing
Allen Signs was proud to contribute to the new Diamond Place development, LACE Housing’s latest Housing with Extra Care scheme in the popular village of Welton.
Comprising 62 one-bedroom apartments for rent and 10 two-bedroom bungalows under the Older Persons Shared Ownership Scheme, the development offers modern, accessible living spaces complemented by a range of communal facilities.
This landmark project, developed in partnership with West Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire County Council, and supported by the Parish Council, was made possible through a £5.6 million grant from Homes England. RG Carter served as the appointed contractor, working alongside key partners such as Thornton-Firkin, Longhurst Group, Saunders Boston Architects, Ward Cole, and Triangle. With completion February 2025, the development marks LACE Housing’s Diamond Jubilee—60 years of providing housing and support services for older people across Greater Lincolnshire.
The Challenge
As a brand-new development designed to support independent living, Diamond Place required a comprehensive signage package that was both functional and visually appealing. The signage needed to:
