We were proud to be part of a special heritage project in Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire—creating a series of interpretive panels that tell the story of this historic village and its royal connections.
Located in the beautifully restored Gas House, the exhibition explores Old Bolingbroke’s rich past, including its links to Bolingbroke Castle—the birthplace of Henry IV—and the wider Duchy of Lancaster.
A Community-Driven Exhibition
The project, developed in partnership with Energy Cell and supported by funding from East Lindsey District Council, placed local people at the heart of the storytelling. The “Through Our Eyes” theme gave the community a chance to share personal memories and reflections, ensuring the exhibition truly represents village life—past and present.
